This set of machined bosses and bungs has everything you’ll need to mount your gas tank “Frisco Style” — up high on the backbone of your frame. The bolt bungs are stepped and will work with any frame with any diameter backbone up to two inches.

To use, just drill two holes in your backbone, weld the bolt bungs into the frame and cut off any extra length. The large end is recessed deep enough so that the bolt head will remain hidden even after the bung is dressed down flush with the backbone. Weld the two bosses to the inside of the tank tunnel.

One Frisco kit includes two 3/8" socket head bolts, two machined bungs for the backbone and two 3/8" UNC blind-tapped bosses for the bottom of you tank.
