This battery box is based on the one we built for the “Memento Mori” Ironhead, it’s sized specifically for the Odyssey PC-310 battery — but any battery the same size will work. This is the second generation design with a solid back for extra strength, and a brass overlay plate as a detail for the top. You can finish the box any way you like, paint, chrome or whatever. With the brass top the box would look great painted black and the brass part polished or engraved. Or maybe have the box powder coated with the “chrome” powder as the first stage, then black with the edges of the fins wiped down to the silver coat before it’s baked the second time.

You will need to be able to weld to build this, but it is really simple. We include detailed instructions, you should be able to finish this off in one evening.

The kit comes with all the parts shown, cut from 1/8" steel and brass. A bottom, front, back and two sides, a top plate, 8 fins, a brass detail for the top and instructions. Just add some threaded rod and nuts and you’re in business.
